The Tacks line of protective gear has always been designed to provide maximum protection and the new AS5 Pro Elbow Pad not only does that but also with a new design gives you even better mobility. They've accomplished this with a new MAX Coverage Anatomical Shield design that features a two piece flex motion construction, this design will provide maximum coverage by moving with you and your bodies movements.
Forearm & Bicep
The two places your elbow pad gets the most impacts to and the new AS 5 Pro gives you that pro level protection you expect. At the forearm we see a new injected molded slash guard to take the brunt of the impact with D3O underneath to absorb that impact. Going up to the elbow pad we see the two piece bicep guard with it's floating articulated design that provides great flexibility, adding to the protection is an exposed molded foam to keep the weight down without taking away protection.
Strapping
Keeping you connected we have the 360 degree wraparound forearm strap that holds it in place preventing slippage and working with it we have a new dual pull lock strap that pulls from both the outside & inside to keep you covered.
Elbow Cap
For when you take those big hits or sudden falls to the elbow CCM not only it's NHL approved JDP elbow cap design but they have covered the exterior & interior with D3O to help absorb that impact to reduce the impact to your elbow. The elbow also has a super soft donut pad on the inside that not only give you great comfort but also helps keep your elbow in place.
