For the new DX Youth Shoulder Pad they have specifically designed it for that youth player with an improved light weight design and a low profile shoulder design for increased mobility. They have provided ample protection for this level of shoulder pad with multi layer foam design in key areas for the protection that is needed without taking away any mobility or adding any weight for that youth hockey player.
