Keeping with the popularity of the previous Supreme 1S pant Bauer has not changed much on the new Bauer Supreme 2S Pro elbow pad. The new 2S pro offers elite level protection with a new style fit that has the fit of the previous 1S with pieces from a traditional fit. Bauer is closing the gap in the Supreme pant to fit the needs for the player that likes a girdle but wants a more traditional pant. The light weight design and pro level protection has not changed as we still have the use of Poron XRD & CURV composite being used in the pant to reduce weight and offer enhanced protection.
DESIGN
Bauer has adjusted the fit of the new Supreme 2S Pro pant slightly to reach a wider array of players by mixing in some of the fit characteristics found on the traditional style pant. This pant is still one of the snugger fitting pants from Bauer with it’s anatomical thigh shape and lightweight design for that player after mobility and protection.
TAILBONE & SPINE PROTECTION
We see Bauer continue it’s use of CURV compositE and Poron XRD foam through this unit. Through the tailbone is the use of Poron XRD foam which offers greater protection with those high impacts, it is a great foam to have in this area of the pant as you never know when you’ll catch a rut in the ice and land right on your tailbone which is not the most comfortable things... but with Poron on your side you won’t feel that at all. We also have CURV being used in the spine section of the pant that keeps the weight down in the pant while having maximum impact protection for when your standing in front of the net.
CUSTOMIZATIONS
The pant as a exterior belt with a Velcro adjustable strap to secure this pant around you waist, the pant also has Bauer Extension Fit system with an exterior zipper that will allow you to drop the pant down by an extra inch. The inner thigh of the pant has an enclosed zipper that can be used to widen the thigh portion of the pant to make it easier for those players who prefer to put their skates on before the pants, or for the player that likes a bit more room around the thigh.
