The Bauer Vapor 3X Junior skate has been specifically designed for the younger skates to allow them better flexibility to with it's Motion Flex design. This will allow the skater to get an even longer stride by getting over top of their toes for better range of motion, the support is also not affected to ensure they have the proper amount of stiffness for stability.
Working with that longer stride Bauer has put on this skate a new LS balance blade which is a 13" radius compared to the traditional 9' radius, this will give the skater better stability & balance on the ice giving them more confidence with their skating.
