For the hockey player looking to get on the street for some outdoor hockey and wants to have a boot that feels similar to what they use on the ice with the wheels meant for the road. The new Vapor X3.5 roller skate provides that player just this option, with a 3D polycarb quarter package and Hi-Lo Chassis with abec 5 bearings attached to a street designed wheel. Providing comfort is a 40oz felt tongue with mesh insert and a 1 piece sublimated liner with memory foam ankle padding.
Boot Construction
Much like the X3.5 Ice Skate the roller version has a polycarb quarter package for the right amount of stiffness & support while providing good flexibility to get the most out of each stride.
Wheel & Chassis
Attached to this boot is a Hi-Lo Ventilator chassis with matching Hi-Lo Street specific wheels which helps address the issue for that player wanting something more hockey specific without getting a super soft wheel that will get chewed up on the road. They've also gone with an ABEC 5 bearing for this price point skate but if you want to upgrade to a smoother feeling bearing the Bauer ABEC 7 is available separately.
Tongue & Boot Liner
Keeping your feet comfortable in the boot is a memory foamed ankle padding with a one piece laminated liner, this way you can be out skating till the street lights come on. We also see they've gone with a 40oz felt tongue with an added metatarsal guard for comfort and lace bite protection while also covering the inside of the tongue with a mesh insert for even more comfort on top of your foot.
