Designed with a low kick profile to get the puck coming off your blade quicker than ever the new Vapor Hyperlite 2 stick does this with an improved XE taper & ACL 2.0 carbon layering technology that reduces the weight of the stick by 25% without sacrificing durability.
KICKPOINT & BLADE
The Hyperlite 2 features a low kick flex profile making it optimum for players who prefer quick snap or wrist shots that get the puck off your blade before the goalie can react. This is designed with the XE elliptical shaped taper at the lower section of the blade that helps direct the energy loaded from the shaft to the blade as quick as possible. Helping work with the taper is the stiffest blade Bauer has created with a Hypercore 2 blade construction that helps keep the blade from twisting and improved 10% increase in recoil to make sure your shot is quick and precise. Aiding in puck feel the blade has reinforced textreme material for additional blade feel and responsiveness.
SHAFT CONSTRUCTION
One big feat from that has been achieved is Bauer shaving 25g of weight from the original Hyperlite stick. They've been able to do this by using less material without in the construction process while not taking away any durability or feel. The stick combined with the blade has been incredibly well balanced with its monocomp construction reduces any unnecessary material adding excess weight. Helping give added control throughout the game Bauer has coated the shaft with a glossy griptac material to help create a better grip for better puck control and shooting efficiency.
