Built off the new Velocity V10 Pro Carbon body with the added NHL beef up package which has additional 1/4" LD foam in the arms for even better impact protection.
BODY CONSTRUCTION
The larger has larger shoulder floaters to provide maximum coverage with HD Foam with added Carbon inserts for a better blocking surface. Vaughn has also added Carbon Composite inserts in high impact areas to help reduce impact feel. For a more customized fit & feel we have vertical adjustments at the shoulder to bring the body up and adjustable body straps. For added coverage Vaughn has added a second shoulder cap that extends to the bicep and extended coverage for the ribs for even better body wrap. Depending how you wear the unit the lower chest flap will integrate both inside & outside of the pant and it's multi rib design will give the flexibility needed for maximum mobility.
ARMS CONSTRUCTION
For that pro level coverage the arms have HD foam with added carbon with the stock unit, we have gone ahead and added 1/4" of additional LD foam under that in the arms to give even more protection without taking away mobility or adding any unnecessary weight. This addition of the LD foam will also give great impact dispersion. We see also a flat arm cap design that gives just a larger blocking surface and with the arm floaters going with a nylon cover that will take away any friction from the jersey. Built in to the arm floaters is that same HD foam with carbon inserts and adding middle bar in the center for full coverage and impact protection. Now keeping you comforablt in the arm is a Molded Plastizote foam with HD foam in the elbow caps and the have lengthened the wrist strap to provide a more secure fit.
