The Tacks line of protective gear has always been designed to provide maximum protection and the new AS5 Pro Shoulder Pad not only does that but also with a new design gives you even better mobility. The shape has changes slightly since the AS1 with a more anatomical design with flex motion construction that moves with you throughout the game while still providing full coverage.
Shoulder Cap & Bicep
With a more anatomical design the AS5 Pro shoulder caps have a dual core HD foam cap for pro level protection with D30 on the exterior of the cap to help distribute those big impacts from every angle when you're battling in the corner. We also see the use of two style of D3O foam used here with D3O Aero on the inside and D30 Lite on the front to provide full shock & impact protection. Attached to the shoulder caps we have a adjustable bicep guard with injected plastic to allow you bridge the gap between your shoulder pad & elbow pad while maintaining that pro level of protection.
Sternum & Spine
Designed to keep you cool while giving that pro level protection we see CCM going with a new VENT-TECH sternum & spine that allows for increased airflow while keeping you protected with the addition of D3O in those key impact zones.
Torso
Giving you maximum comfort we have a flex motion base with Molded HD foam for additional rib protection while also keeping you cool. The body also has a removeable belly pad to work with your pants and your comfort level, we also see the use of ADPTFIT strapping to provide a more custom fit and feel by being able to adjust the length of the strap at the torso.
